When you have to have your computer systems up and running because tax season doesn't allow for downtime, just have User Friendly come in and make things right.

When User Friendly was contacted by Christine Cassidy's office to go over any upgrades that might be needed, we saw an underutilized network that had been pieced together over time. We decided to start from the ground up with hardware that we knew was sound, so we went through the process of implementing a new Dell server. Using a new migration process we were able to take down the old system and migrate data and users to the new system with relative ease. Downtime was during a two hour lunch where we were able to add all of the computers to the new domain. Everything else was done through logon scripts and data synchronization services.

We are always excited when our customer want to try to utilize new and upcoming technologies to try and further their business. Trying to go from a paper run office to a paperless one is quite a task, but we were able to partner with Christine's office and their onsite technology expert to get the necessary parts in place.
A new Poweredge server was put in place to handle the document management system. This allows them to scan in documents and code them to certain people, years, etc... New scanners and dual screen monitors were installed at each station to maximize efficiency and try and cut the paper use down to nothing. We started this project directly after tax season so that all the users could get used to the system before the new tax season starts.
